A word about your Real Estate Professional

Many times, customers have told us some Home Inspectors have stated that the Agent/Broker they are working with does not have their best interest in mind. This is an unprofessional, damaging, and untrue statement. A Real Estate Professional, whether acting as a buyer, seller or dual agent, has a fiduciary responsibility to all parties in a transaction. Although you choose whether or not to have a Home Inspection, most Agents, in this Company’s' experience, do not "steer" customers away from Home Inspections. Contrary to popular inspector belief, Real Estate Agents spend countless hours per customer with Home Inspections which, is both time consuming, and difficult for them to schedule at times. Agents handle scheduling and attending these Inspections which takes much of their time, on top of other intricate tasks involved in putting things together for their customers and clients. It truly serves no purpose to tell any customer that an Agent does not have their best interest in mind. The Home Inspector is there to work for you, but, that does not indicate that other parties to the transaction are not serving you. It is also not true that all Real Estate Professionals "hate" Home Inspectors. We have found that those, whom need to belittle other professionals, are not themselves professional.
